DOC Energy Services was formed in 1980 by Dale Nix who saw a need for cementing and acidizing services for local operators in Northwest LA, and East Texas.

In 2009, with the rise of the Haynesville Shale, DOC saw an
opportunity to expand into larger more complex cementing
services.  With John Carmichael and Phillip Smith joining the
efforts to expand the business and focused on vertical
production work with local independents in the Ark-La-Tex. DOCadded double pump trucks and cementing lab to provide the equipment needed to do the deeper and hotter wells.

In 2020, DOC expanded their service offerings to
include Pumpdown and Miscellaneous pumping services with

2 pumps and by 2022 has grown to 21 pumps servicing the

Ark-La-Tex.

In 2021, DOC purchased equipment and established operations in Baird, TX to provide Vertical Stimulation work, Acidizing andCementing services.

In September 2021, Casing and Tubing Services was initiated as the first non-pumping service line for DOC based in Shreveport, LA servicing the Ark-La-Tex.  Services provide state of the art casing and tubing torque data gathering and industry leading casing running tools.

Growth continued in 2022 with the addition of cementing and
acidizing services in Columbia, MS, as well as, establishing a
surface rentals division to the product line in Shreveport. 
In 2023 DOC was able to consolidate their Ark-La-Tex service
lines to Shreveport, LA to better service the client base in the
region.  Service and production downhole tools were added in
June of the year to further expand offerings provided across the US. In December 2023, casing unloading, cleaning and
strapping was introduced.
